ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Tripat Narayanan, writer and film/theater critic, has written for Malaysian publications, The New Straits Times, The Edge, The Sun, Malaysian Tatler, Men’s Review and Her World. She is a judge for the theater section of the Boh Cameronian Arts Awards in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has served on film panels in Hyderabad and Penang, Malaysia, and was invited to the Cannes film festival. She was educated at the University of Malaya and was also a Fulbright scholar at Northwestern University, Illinois, where she received a PH.D. in Radio, TV and Film. She has taught courses in English and Film at University Malaya and at private colleges in Kuala Lumpur, where she lives with her husband, three children and an old hardwood table.
